TBH the 4th langauge is for sure my favorite but also the hardest to understand, but I'm working on it (Pigin).
How you day?
A game Sor. Merl and I like to play is "which language will this certain person NOT understand so we can say what we need to say but keep it between us"
We had a really good Zone Conference this week that ended up being my LAST one so I got to bear my dying testimony and I was not prepared at all but it made me do some thinking. Who even was I when this adventure started? Boh!
In case you haven't been on facebook for a while, the Europe area is doing a Book of Mormon challenge! I invite all you people/ y'all/ you guys, etc to join bc we're only on day 3 and we've already seen some wonderful things come from it. Its so simple. There's a question and then a few verses to read that will help you find an answer to that question.

We had the most amazing lesson about obedience and repentance. I'm not going to write out the details but it was so good and moments like those make it all worth it.
Ok so for today's ramblings of Sorella Riley, let's bring together Jean Valjean's "Who am I" and 1 Samuel 15. What do they have in common? Valjean debates weather to turn himself in, which is the honest thing to do. He knows that's what God wants him to do, even though he is "the master of hundreds of workers...how can they live if I am not free?". These poor people need jobs, they need him. He could easily use this righteous desire to keep helping these people and stay out of jail forever as an excuse to turn his back on the unjust trial taking place. He's the only one who knows the truth. But he chooses God over his other righteous desire. Now look at Saul. The Lord commands him to destroy Amalekites and ALL that they have. Saul decides to use some of their animals to sacrifice. That's not a bad thing, is it? See verse 22. "To obey is better than sacrifice". God does not need our sacrifices. He wants our hearts, our will, our obedience. His will will get done. For us, it's more important to obey. So moral of the story: be like Jean Valjean, not Saul.
Ich hab euch sehr lieb :)
