Hey Y'all!
We got to go to Genova for scambio this week and I was with Sorella L so of course it was a blast! She
goes home in a few weeks, and recently turned 21, so we celebrated with a piña colada that may or may not
have been alcoholic. So March 8th was International Women’s Day and they make quite a big deal out of it
here. We went to a bar with a bunch of Relief Society ladies. There was focaccia and we ordered drinks. Sor.
Lewis ordered a virgin piña colada, and so did one other woman. When the drinks came, she stopped hers,
said it tasted a little weird, let me try it (yeah it had a weird taste) but she kept drinking to be polite. When her
glass was almost empty, the other woman who had one started passing hers around bc of the funny taste. Lots
of people took a sip. Some insisted there was alcohol, others said it's not alcohol, just an odd after-taste. So I
guess we'll never knew.

We had cleaning checks this week! During the deep clean the night before, I was trying to defrost the freezer
with various tools, such as hot water and an iron. At some point, I touched the roof and my finger froze to the
ice there. Like it legit became part of the ice!!!! I was stuck there for a solid 5 minutes, as Sor. R passed
me cups of water to splash on it. Finally I could free my finger. It was the most painful burn I have ever
experienced and hurt for a good 4 days after. Now I can truly empathize with Ralphie's friend in “A Christmas
Story”.

Last night a guy came up to us and we talked a little and gave him our number on a Jesus card...right in front
of a JW stand so that was fun.

Other than make memories, we've been doing missionary work, eating gelato, talking to strangers, reading the
Book of Mormon, and helping A as she gets ready for baptism!
