Week 44

Torino 38- big city, big gelato
Highlight of the week: giving away a Spanish Book of Mormon with my testimony in Spanish and some happy
scriptures marked.

It was raining and deserted and there was nobody out that afternoon except one girl sitting at a bus stop. I walk
up to her, hand her a pass-along card, ask if she believes in Jesus (she says yes) I explain that we're Mormons
(she says she has a friend back in Peru who is Mormon), I ask if she likes to read (yes, very much), I tell her I
have a book for her in Spanish (she's like what the heck but accepts is gratefully), I tell her that it's all about
Jesus and even tells about Him visiting the people in Ancient America after his resurrection and tell her that
our number is in the book for when she has questions about it. Then we left before she could realize how odd
and random this situation was. I'm sure we'll hear from her soon! I was feeling it and I'm pretty sure she was too.

So why was I, an American girl, in Italy with a Spanish Book of Mormon in which I wrote a note in Spanish that
very morning? Boh, I just felt like it.

This week we traveled to an appointment only to realize that I had brought us to the right street but in the wrong
paesino (little town). Oops.

So that about sums up the week. Fun stuff!

Ok bye I love y'all!
Sorella Riley
